The trees have sprouted their leaves to the swirling winds of the fresh springtime air. The sun is high in the sky, casting shadows on the green fields, letting us know that summer is near. There is a season for everything in the cycle of life. Now is a time to look toward the future and be thankful for life's past; now is a time for gratitude.
One of the best locations to see the changes and reflect is the Olivia Garvey Lincoln Gratitude Trail at The Center. Come and experience our very unique trail designed for the expression of thanksgiving, appreciation and gratitude. Fresh air, a bit of exercise and a lot of beauty are a few extra reasons you can be grateful on your stroll.
Stones and bricks start the path around The Center's pond. Each is etched with a name, quotation, or personal thought. This is a special way to show someone your love, give a good wish, share a favorite phrase, or just show that you support The Center for the Improvement of Human Functioning.
Please take this time to contribute for an engraved brick or stone. Contributions made for bricks and stones on the gratitude trail are used in the general giving fund. The monies are used for cutting edge research, updating the Mabee Library resources, funding the certified organic garden, and providing medical care for needy patients/co-learners. Each engraved brick is only $50. The price of stones is based upon size. You can also view the bricks or stones from anywhere in the world.
It has been said that written intentions are the most powerful. Imagine the power of an intention etched in stone for all to see.
Thank you so much for all of your support. We hope you have a lot to be grateful for this season.

Renee Olmstead, Director of Development
