Volunteering is beneficial for The Center and for the person who volunteers. Delta Sigma Gamma is what we call our volunteer organization. DSG stands for Doing Something Good and doing something good for others, having something interesting to do, and being with people who are also committed to doing for others improves the quality of life for the volunteer. Research has shown that people who give to others are healthier, happier, and more contented.

Center volunteers share their many talents with us. They find ways to give to The Center more than time. They give ideas on how to do a task better, ways to start a program that will give a health benefit to others, and their energy to get the impossible accomplished.

The Center is a better place because of the commitment, energy, and spirit of the women and men who volunteer with us. If you are the kind of person who likes to serve others and would like to be a part of what is happening at The Center, please consider becoming a Center volunteer. Give us a call at 316- 682-3100 or fill out our on-line form.
